It really does what it says. Idk how, but it does. I got the eucalyptus one, and I'm not crazy about the scent (it's not gross but it's not good), but it does absorb and replace the weed smell. So that's a win. Please find another scent, though. I will buy again and want to try leaving one near my cat's litter box (of of curious kitty reach of course)
